“Pharmassets” Pharmaceutical Company was registered in summer 2009. In autumn 2009 the company received a license to pharmaceutical activities with leased warehouse in Europe's largest logistics complex “North Domodedovo” (Moscow region), which combined with a common vision of “A” class warehouses.

Currently the company is the unifying element of the same named group of 15 pharmaceutical companies. Total group turnover in 2009 amounted to about 1 billion rubles. Total stuff of the group was more than 300 people. Companies in the group are represented in all stages of pharmaceutical business:
- Development and market research of medicinal products,
- Pre-clinical research of medicinal products,
- Clinical studies of medicinal products,
- Registration of medicinal products,
- Production and examination of medicinal products,
- Storage, transportation and importation into Russian Federation,
- Implementation of medicinal products,
- Advertising and marketing of medicinal products.
PHARMASSETS company performs two main functions in the group:
First - as a unifying element of the holding, Pharmassets performs a number of management tasks for the implementation and management of a common standard of management on the basis of its own group software such as ERP. The company also carries out the task of conducting of consolidated: accounting, management, operational reporting, and accounting of both individual companies and groups. All activities of companies and groups in general are based on separate accounting and reporting in accordance with implementable projects (medicines). That’s why the company has staff of10 professional programmers and financial managers.
Second - the company is a design office, which is able to carry out projects in the pharmaceutical area on the stages from their initiation to the finished product and displaying it on the market. That’s why in the company created the structure and implemented the concept of project office in accordance with the recommendations of the standards of Project Management Institute, PMI. The project office stuff consists of 10 project managers.
Today Pharmassets are building a portfolio of medicines for the leading Russian pharmaceutical factories in different areas, including treatment of diabetes, cancer and cardiovascular diseases; the amount of sales is estimated at 3.5 billion dollars.
The group also aims to implement the state program of strategic development of the Russian pharmaceutical industry - «Pharma 2020» and implementation of the approved by the government list of 57 strategic medicinal products.
In order to optimally meet the needs of clients of the company and shareholders, we are introducing new management techniques, and involve the views of professionals in making management decisions.
